Guest guest
I went to Mark's raw potluck yesterday. I had a great time. It was all good -- the meetin', the greetin', and the eatin'. Mark your durian pudding, and David's banana-strawberry pie were the bomb! Only one problem, no Josh ;o) I wanted to let folks know that the Costco in Alexandria, VA has several Cuisinart food processors for sale. I bought the 11- cup, 3 speed version, with the wide feed tube. It also comes with a video, 4 disks, a covered case for the disks, a spatula, an instruction booklet, and a recipe book. It all cost me only $169 plus tax. That's not dirt cheap, but it was the best deal that I'd seen either in stores or on the web, so I jumped on it. The other thing that I'd like to pass on pertains to the Vita- Mix. I plan to purchase one in the fall. At that time there will be several shows/fairs in the vicinity of the Washington metropolitan area. I think that at these shows one may be able to buy them at a substantial discount (as in hundreds of dollars). To find out where and when the shows are you can go to www.vita- mix.com; then click on shows/fairs and follow the prompts. Guest guest
Thanks so much, I wasn't able to access the vitamix link, could you send it again. As for Josh he'll be home in a couple of hours, back from Grandma's w/the flu and a fever again. We'll make some adjustments since their not ready to respect our food and lifestyle choices. Not so pleasant watching him lay around w/out that smile and not hungry. Fortunatelt his body is able to heal itself and all will be well. peace, Mark
