Hello Rawsoul and RRemak...I hadn't been on the web for about a day and

a half and I just saw that you started your 21 day raw foods fast. Congratulations.

I am also on the raw foods 21 day focus. I know that it will be a

clearing for you in all ways and what doesn't heal, you'll know what to

do with it! I have gone through a few physical adjustments, but my

biggest challenge seems to be making sure I am prepared for the day.

Last night I was at a function where there were chips, salsa, bread (all

of my past favorite munchie foods), and I hadn't eaten and didn't have

a chance to run home to get the salad I'd prepared. I thought I might

be in trouble. But there was a resolve that kept me from the

Tostito chips and salsa. I didn't want any. I know I can't

eat those things and be healthy in the long run.

For folks that have been doing raw foods for awhile, do you carry a

cooler? Do you prepare everything the night before? What works

best for you in terms of making sure you have everything you need for an

entire day? Thanks for your support...Ashtarra

Greetings Ashtarra,

I usually carry a cooler to work and keep it in the car w/my juice or

smoothie. I also usually keep a few apples or oranges in case I'm hungrier than

normal or out later than expected. Some water will hold me if it's less than an

hour before I can get a meal. A few of my friends are raw or vegan and keep food

on hand if I'm in their neighborhood.

peace,

Mark
