Guest guest
Hi there, Having the water with the sugar and lemon is the equivalent of a "Recharge" type of electrolyte drink. If you are fasting, it helps to keep your potassium, magnesium, etc up. The spice (cayenne) helps to stimulate circulation as well as other things. Hope that answers your question! You can drink it whenever though you probably won't need to. And, to answer your other question about feeling tired and sluggish during your initial phases of changing your diet, yes this is normal. It might be good to change your diet more gradually and if your body is telling you that it is tired, make every effort to sleep/rest. Your body needs time to cleanse... Also what exactly does it do? I am just curious and trying to learn as much as I can. Combine the juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper in 10 oz. glass and fill with medium hot water. Use fresh lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or lime juice nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice. Use organic lemon / lime when possible. From the book "The Master Cleanser" Ron
