Can anyone give suggestions on what to do about water retention? I

have been suffering with this problem ever since I was given steroids

as a way to control my asthma, myjunior year in hihg school. that is

about 12 years now. I have been asthmatic since the age of 2. the

problem i have is that I have been to doctors and they cannot help me

with the problem. I told them that I know it is because of the

steroids that I am retainig fluids. I have decided not to take

anymore steroids. And today is my second day of the 21 day challenge.

Chaning to a raw food way of life I feel is my only resort.

Thanks for all of your input and support.

Congrats on being active in your health. You may notice some wonderful suprises.

My four year old son had asthma about two years ago and being loaded down w/meds

and breathing treatments. The symptoms were gone after three weeks of a

vegetarian diet (fish 2-three times a week). When he went all raw about a year

ago he had two periods lasting a couple of days each were he had those same

asthma like synptoms. He ate plenty of olives and fresh figs when we could get

them and we would give him kiwi's and oranges to encourage the old mucuss to

come out. Lobelia and Mullien leaf were also two helpful herbs. Maybe a good

holistic nutritionalist or naturopath can get a regimen that's compatible w/you.

It wouldn't suprise me if the whole thing isn't gone by the end of your 21 day

raw.

peace and encouragement,

Mark
