Guest guest
Greetings Family, Thanks for all the well wishes I received! My wedding anniversary, birthday and Mother’s Day all in one week. Whew! A lot to do… but I feel truly blessed. And additionally blessed and honored to have met all of you. I look forward to us all helping and communing with each other for many years to come. I want to wish all the moms a great day and healthy rest of the year. We have had 8 babies in bellydance class so far this year (one just last week! Our first boy!). So many blessings. And speaking of Mother’s Day… Mama Maisha, I need to order some of those hot mudcloth pillows you make. Our baby just destroyed our flimsier pillows – guess they weren’t stylish enough for her. Well, it was a good Mother’s Day anyway. Guest guest
I had such a diagnosis in 1980. I also had an ovarian cyst which ruptured causing me to have an emergency surgery. During this surgery to remove the ruptured cyst, I lost 5 pts of blood. I almost died. I endured over 18 hours of suffering. After that whole experience was over, I became lacto ovo vegetarian. The suffering I had endured convinced me that every living thing in the world wanted his/her own life for his/her pig, cat, dog etc. reason. At my 6 week check-up following the surgery, I was told that I should undergo a complete hysterectomy because it was discovered that I had very large fibroids. I refused the surgery and after about 2 years I saw another physician for something else. This physician, upon examining me, remarked that the fibroids were almost none existent. This physician asked me what had I been doing because my medical records described quite large fibroids which needed removing. I told this physician that I had only become vegetarian. He said to me that becoming a vegetarian was a good move because on a vegetarian died I got less cholesterol and that fibroids feed upon cholesterol. He said because the fibroids were no longer able to grow large off of feasting on cholesterol the fibroids had almost disappeared. I was happy to hear that something I had done out of stubbornness had turned out to be a good thing. So, I have always told my friends to become vegetarian to treat fibroids. I am now 55 and still have not had a hysterectomy. I have been vegetarian for 22 years, Vegan and raw for 3 years. I am eternally grateful for my remarkable health and I contribute the remission of fibromyalgia to the Vegan raw diet. It has been a wonderful journey. haydenbeatty07 [haydenbeatty07]Monday, May 10, 2004 4:21 PM Subject: Re: birthday wishes!!!!!!!!!! greetings queen, what do you suggest a sister do to remove uterine fibroids.
