Aris Latham, Our own Live Food Master, just returned to Jamaica from Live workshops in England and sent over these recipes for us. I’m still having major computer issues but wanted to get this out so we can keep on track… deliciously, of course. J Be well, ~Sunyatta Sunfire Recipes Corn Beet Pate 1lb Almonds 1lb Beets 1 small Onion 3 cloves Garlic 1 ear Corn 1 stalk Celery 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Paprika 1 tbsp Nama Shoyu Soak almonds for 12 hours. Drain & rinse. Shred beets in food processor with fine shredder blade and remove corn kernels from the cob. Place all ingredients in food processor with “S” blade and grind to a fine texture. Live Hummus 2 cups Sprouted Chick Peas 1/2 cup Water ½ cup Sesame Tahini 3 cloves Garlic 3 tbsp Lemon Juice Pinch White Pepper 1 tbsp Nama Shoyu 1 tsp Cumin Powder 1 sprig Parsley Place all ingredients in blender (accept parsley & sesame tahini). Blend at high speed to a smooth consistency. Then add sesame tahini and blend for 1 minute, add parsley and blend for 30 seconds more. Guacamole 2 Avocados 1 large Plum Tomato ½ small Onion 2 cloves Garlic 2 tsp Lemon Juice 1 tsp Nama Shoyu 2 sprigs Cilantro 1 tsp Mexican Seasoning Smash avocado with fork.
