Guest guest Posted May 6, 2004 Report Share Posted May 6, 2004 Hi Inez...You can go to " bvstx " <bvstx and get put on the list serve for the Dallas, Texas area... Black Vegetarian Society. They always seem to have nice programs. They usually have a speaker do some type of introductory talk about vegetarianism for newcomers, they have a meal, sometimes they have jazz, or African art, etc. The person who arranges those activities is named JJ Johnson. I am going to do something like that in a few months in upstate NY and had e-mailed JJ probably last summer.
