Guest guest
Bev.. I've had problems as well. I ended up taking my 4 daughters to a Universal Unitarian (UU)church. It was so refreshing and the children enjoyed the structure and sense of community. If you are not sure, research different types of religion online and see if anything seems to " click " for you. Guest guest
Hi Bev! You might want to look into Universalist Unitarian churches. They teach about the truths of many religions - how they relate to one another and how we can be accepting of all. They are very earth-friendly and do a lot of service (locally and for the environment.) I am a Buddhist, but I take my kids to the UU church because there is a strong community there with a lot of good messages (without the indoctrination that I've experienced of other religions.) Most people think UUs just believe whatever and anything is OK, but in my experience, it's deeper - like learning to appreciate how we are the same and what makes us different... Good luck in your search! Linda
