Guest guest
The best way to eat it is w/a big smile on your face, it is so delicious and juicy. I don't know as far as ripe, although in Jamaica the ones I had were yellow w/some brown (sort of how a ripe bannanas is) and we just cut it open and pulled out the flesh, kinda like eating a Durian or mango, messy and well worth it. I'm going to Costa Rico in a couple of weeks and I'm looking foward to some (hopefully it will be in season) and a few other fruits I'll be tasting for the first time. peace and inspiration, Mark
