Guest guest
Well it looks like some energy is sparked. Once again my name is Mark, I have been eating all raw for about a year and three months, and vegan for about 5yrs before that. Initially I started on Gary Nulls 18mo.anti aging group w/great. At that time I had hypoglycemia, candida, premature graying and stagnant liver. All have been eliminated and most of my hair is all black (a big jump from almost half gray).. After going to a workshop by the Buetenko's I was inspired to go raw (really never considered it before). I tried raw for about two months and felt awful (not like a healing crisis). I went back to my vegan diet which inclides a lot of green juices, about a quart a day. I felt better and put my weght back on ( I'm naturaly slim). A year later I saw a workshop by Doug grahm and his emphasis on fruits as the primary source of calories and increasing the calories connected w/ me and I was ready to try raw agin. Since then I have felt wonderful my weght is about the same as when I was cooke although I initially lost 25 lbs when I started and twenty again when I stopped using oils. I am 6'4" and i stay around 180# , my body fat is about 6%, my enrgy is great, sleep about 5hrs a nite and I'm well rested, I workout daily and run 5-10 mile 3time a week. I also do physical work during the day, installing and refinishing wood floors and I'm raising tw kids, 15, 3 (with the help of wonderful freinds and family). It was tough for me doing mostly raw as I found mysel overeating. Once all raw I tend to stop eating when full although the volume is much greater (usually around 3,000 calories). I am 45 and feel like a kid, sometimes when I leave the house I find myself jumping up to try touching a leaf in the tree. By the way my youngest son had asthma (on breathing treatment 7 days a week) He has been on raw for about a year and vegan for two and no asthma or medicatins since then (his previous doctor said it must have been a misdiagnosis???). Enough for now. peace and blessings, Mark
Guest guest
Mark, we have had the same experience with our son's. My son who is now 17 had severe asthma too. He is vegan and eats live greens. He has been raw but at this time he is not. Before we changed his diet he suffered; all the time in the hospital and on lots of steroids. Today we are blessed with no medication and no hospitalizations. I would like for him to eat 80% live food . However we are struggling with that.
