Once upon a time there were some creatures who lived at the bottom of a rushing river, where they clung to a rock to avoid being carried away by the current. One day one of the creatures got tired of clinging to the rock and he told the others he had decided to let go and see what would happen. The other creatures said "No, no you will be dashed against the rocks and you will be destroyed!". But the first creature had made up his mind and he let go of the rock anyway. It was true he was dashed against the rocks by the heavy current and he became battered and bruised. But then the current carried him aloft and it was a beautiful feeling, like flying, and he bobbed up to the surface of the water and saw many wonderful things as he was carried down the rushing river. And soon he passed another village of creatures like himself who clung to the rocks at the bottom of the river. And one of them called out "Look! There is a creature like ourselves but look he can fly!" And the others called out "Master, master, teach us how we can fly like you!" And he called in answer to them saying "Let go of the rocks!!!" But the creatures cried out "No, no, we can't do that, we will be dashed against the rocks and be destroyed!".
