Karyn's Raw Food on Oprah

Greetings ers,

 

My husband, Matt, is on his way to Chicago for a

Capoeira conference this weekend. He plans to eat at Karyn’s Café (raw

food) and take some pics while he’s there this weekend. We are looking at

opening a Raw Food Café next spring/summer in DC so we are always doing research.

 

 

I have collected some pics and info below. Karyn is a 56 year old African-American

Karyn Calabrese, owner of

Karyn's Fresh Corner, a raw-food restaurant in Chicago, appeared

on the Oprah Winfrey Show on May 5,

2000. The show title was Age Defying Women.  Karyn is a

beautiful example. She has been a raw foodist for over 20 years and a

vegan for over 30 years.

Please leave Oprah a message here,

and urge her to dedicate an entire show about living and raw foods.
