Hi Rufus, If you don't have a local source, then I suggest that you buy from Barlean's. They have a web site. I buy my Flax oil from them because it is fresh pressed daily and, because I am dealing with cancer, they ship free of charge. I buy the 32 oz. bottles and get a wholesale price. They are a great company. I buy my flax seed from a friend of mine whose brother grows it organically. I buy it in 25 lb. bags. It's well worth it. I'm not sure if he sells it commercially. I think he does and could ask my friend if you'd like me to. The single most important thing about flax seed and flax seed oil is it's freshness. Don't grind more than you can use in a week and store it in the fridge. The oil will keep up to a year by storing it in the freezer with the exception of the bottle you are using. Guest guest
Dear Christina, Please forgive me if you find this out of line. I needed to respond to something you said: " I buy my Flax oil from them because it is fresh pressed daily and, because I am dealing with cancer, " I have read many articles saying that if you have cancer you should not consume oil (of any kind), sugar or dairy products (dairy because of the growth hormone) because these feed cancer cells. Just wanted to bring it up to you in case you had not read anything about this. Take care, Breezi
