Guest guest
Kim, I think the one by Rhio that I mentioned is probably my favorite again called " hooked on raw " and I have most of the raw cookbooks out there (at least it seems that way, whenever somebody mentions one...Im usually like...yup already got it!) The other one that I really like is " The Complete Book of Raw Food " it has over 350 raw recipes from lots of different chefs. So it's a nice cross section of ideas and styles. I agree with somebody else who mentioned Juliano's book. I find it frustrating when a good portion of the recipes require another recipe to be part of it. I think the idea behind it is using leftovers from the former recipes. But who is that organized?? And if it's good I am not going to have leftovers in the first place! Ironically Juliano's book was the first raw cookbook I ever purchased....and I had felt real discouraged because it seemed so complicated to me (again too many steps). But if you purchase the first two books I mentioned...I think you would get not only a good cross reference of ideas on recipes but also a lot of valuable information (particuarly in Rhio's book) on raw eating in general.
