Hi.

My name is Joyce, and I live in Atlanta.

I have been a vegetarian for about eight years. I started on a doctor's

recommendation, but now I could not ever go back.

On the same thread I feed my dog a natural diet also. Their DNA matches

ninety-nine percent of a wolf. She eats only raw meat. I buy the veggies for

myself and the pig's feet and chicken quarters for her.

I tried to go vegan for a year, but pizza just kept calling my name.

I sprouted myself for some time and plan to do it again soon. I want to add much

more raw to my diet and hope to learn some things here. I do not even like my

food hot anymore.

Did you notice my email address?

It is better to try something and fail than to try nothing and succeed.

Hi Joyce, I'm new here too. Well, I've been here a few time before,

but I've decided it's time to take raw more seriously now. I'm from

the UK.

I went veggie as a teenager after reading about factory farming.

It's been about 12 years since I ate any meat and in the 3 years

before that, I hardly ate any.

I tried it back on 1994 but had the same problem - cheese!! When I

introduced a lot of raw food into my daily diet and did more reading

about the harmful effects of dairy, I was finally able to drop dairy

altogether 3 years ago.=)

I'm happy cheese isn't getting to me anymore. That used to be one of

the first things I'd love to binge on if I wasn't going to eat raw.
