Guest guest
So this rawfood diet is much lower in cals than normal SAD diet, but doesn't restricting cals cause a run-down metabolism, or cause your metabolism to lower? I am confused.
Guest guest
You need to adapt a bit and that takes a few weeks and the transition is most easily accomplished over time too. The raw food diet will get rid of the nervous energy and fat. Our digestion was refined in warmer climates than we have in the winter months of a temperate climate and the cooked food packs in calories which compensate. At the same time our bodies are fundamentally not designed for cooked food and so a host of parasites in the gut crack into it and the trans fatty acids of cooking etc also make demands on abnormal secretions which eventually hack into our health. In going raw you will slow down the work done by the digestive system and speed up other things such as mental alertness. No need to worry but expect change.
