Guest guest
Sara, I second your salad response in the message preceding this one (#7313). I did the same thing. The blender and the rest of the adjustments you mentioned made a remarkable difference, to my relief. Regarding your fat portions, they are possibly high or at least can be decreased further to reach a more ideal fat-to-carb ratio. I am 5'3 " and weigh 94 pounds. To keep my fat ratio at 10% daily, I cannot eat more than half an ounce of nuts or half an avocado. On days that I take in no fatty foods, total intake of fats that day still go over the minimum 3% the body needs (this minimum is according to Douglas Graham). My average daily fat intake for the month was 8% fat. Click on the Articles link when you reach the website below and find the title " Nutrients: Are You Getting Enough? " by Dr. Douglas N. Graham. This will provide clarification about the statments I have made in the last paragraph. The premise for much of what I have been writing these past few days are in this article and on this website. http://www.doctorgraham.cc Miko
