I love my vitamix and use it daily - I love it. I also have a food processor, an

Omega 8002 juicer and a saladacca. I find the saladacca difficult to use, but

until I find something else that does what it does, I will continue to use it. I

bought a dehydrator and fill it a couple times a week, so far. I don't have a

timer on it, so I use an electric timer that I plug it into. I am not a gourmet

cook, and before I went raw I spent as little time in the kitchen as possible.

Now, I spend a little more time preparing food, but not too much and it is so

worth it.

I bought several books and am reading Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine. Gab

Cousens really tells it like it is and that makes it easy to stick with it.

When I went 100% raw, I cleaned out my cupboards of canned foods and food that

needed to be cooked and gave it to my neighbor; she was very happy to receive

it.

I am visiting my son in CA. While I was in San Diego I went to Cilantros in

Chula Vista. The food was good and the prices weren't bad at all. In Hollywood I

went to a health food store, Erewhon or something like that and picked up a live

pizza. It was small and pricy, but quite yummy. I had it with a big salad and it

was quite filling.
