Guest guest
Hi, I'm Gina and I have been trying to get the will power built up again to go raw. I have watched my weight go up and my health go down over this past year. With personal problems and job problems I just gave up on the rawfoods. Now I have my will power built up and the job plus personal problems all worked out I'm ready to start again. I would like to hear from others as a kind of support center for myself and others. Just moved to N.J and don't have any friends here yet but I'm sure that will change soon..Thanks, Gina
Guest guest
I have watched my weight go up and my health go down over this past year. - Hi Gina: Here's the secret, but if you don't DO it, it'll remain a secret. If you target and set goals it might help, but more often it sets you up for disapointment. - Just do ONE thing: -Shop consciousy. Buy lots of raw, good stuff always, and keep it in the front of everything in your kitchen. Forget about the bad stuff, because it isn't there because you didn't buy it. If you stray, just change again and grab something raw and eat it. It's easy if you don't sweat it! Over time, you'll change without worrying about it. rusty. P.S. Try miso, sauerkraut, kim chee, kefir; all that fermented stuff that's not quite raw but good for you and gets you moving in the right direction. ry - " Gina " <flutterflyart <rawfood > Friday, January 09, 2004 5:41 PM [Raw Food] Starting again > Hi, I'm Gina and I have been trying to get the will power built up > again to go raw. Guest guest
Thanks so much for your help. I live with a family which is part of my job because I'm a Nanny. The woman is a wonderful cook so they have cooked food around all the time. They are also big snack food eaters. I'm very lucky in the fact that they pay for all my food and I get to choose what they buy for me. I have heard there is a support group in NJ but I'm not sure where or when they meet. I'm so new here that every time I venture out I get myself lost. The hints are very helpful..Thanks, Gina
