Guest guest
For all the newbies asking questions about what to eat and meal plans, I would suggest you either try to find some raw food books at the library or purchase one to get you started. One good one is called 12 Steps To Raw Foods: Overcoming The Cooked Food Addiction. It has a good selection of recipes you can try, and it give you information. Some other books you may want to read are: The Raw Life by Paul Nison The Sunfood Success Diet by David Wolfe There are many more, but I'm away on a trip now and don't have access to my books. There are so many out there. I'm sure others will be happy to give you recommendations. You can also find many raw recipes online. Just do a search for raw recipes. You can also find some here: http://www.living-foods.com/recipes/ You can find a lot of links at one of my websites. Here is the direct page for my raw links (as well as other health & fitness links): http://www.exerciseyourwillpower.com/links.html If anyone sees a link that I'm missing, please e-mail it to me. I want to have a comprehensive list of raw links. Viveca ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vita-Mix -- For Nutrition You Can Taste! Guest guest
I'm still fairly new and have found the following two books helpful: The Complete Book of Raw Food: Healthy, Delicious Vegetarian Cuisine Made With Living Foods--Includes Over 350 Recipes from the World's Top Raw Food Chefs And The Living Foods Lifestyle The second book I found helpful as there's a lot of testimonial information. I really do see food as an addiction and it's helpful to me when I'm jonesing for M & M's to read testimonials and remind myself why I'm doing this. The first book has some really wonderful recipes that are easy to prepare. It also has information on the chefs and further resource information.
