Guest guest
Hi, The biggest difference to me in juicers is the ability to juice greens. If you just want to juice the hard stuff like carrots, apples, celery, beets etc. then LaLane is okay; it has a spinning blade. Do a search and you'll get lots of info. Guest guest
I bought an Omega 8002 masticating juicer (single gear, twin auger) a couple of months ago and use it almost daily. It's awesome. It's quiet, does not heat the food, and produces very dry pulp (citrus comes out a bit moist so I run that through twice and then it's dry). It also makes smoothies/ " ice creams " /nut butters/baby food/grinds coffee and grain/and minces and chops. It's quite a machine. It's got a 10 year warranty and is comparable to the Champion Commercial (except the one I got comes with everything you need, no need to spend more on attachments) or the Green Star. It sells for $189 on Ebay new. I got mine for $140 +shipping, gently used (only used a few times. I even got the blank warranty card). After much research, I found this one to be the best juicer for the money. It's also Dr. Mercola's recommended juicer for many of the same reasons I like it. Guest guest
That's why you need two juicers: go ahead, break down and get an Omega juicer/Lalane or whatever but also budget for a Wheateena juicer/impeller. The Omega does the carrots, beets, celery, apples, etc,. while the Wheateena has the screw impeller type action and does parsley, wheatgrass, etc. - " o_ravonelle " <nbozarth <rawfood > Sunday, December 28, 2003 2:24 PM [Raw Food] Juicers > Hi, > The biggest difference to me in juicers is the ability to juice > greens.
