Guest guest
I just finished my first batch of live kim-chee from the Eating without Heating recipe book by Sergei and Valya Boutenko, and now I have no idea how to eat it. I was raised on it (mom made her own) but we had it with rice and it was totally yummy that way. There is a recipe for sauerkraut also in this book. I am going to run into the same dilemma. Any veggiekraut/sauerkraut/kim-chee eaters? Miko
Guest guest
Both kimchee and saurekraut need only one thing in preparation: Rinsing before eating to take out any residual salt. Then shed it or just serve it. rusty - " Miko (Kobasigawa) Nelson " <miko_nelson <rawfood > Sunday, December 21, 2003 2:30 PM [Raw Food] Sauerkraut, kim-chee > I just finished my first batch of live kim-chee from the Eating > without Heating recipe book by Sergei and Valya Boutenko, and now I > have no idea how to eat it. Guest guest
Okay, Rusty: Thanks, now tell me how to STOP eating it. I julienned some daikon radish, carrots, cauliflower and green onions to go with it, and it was smashing, baby, yeah! rawfood , " L.Win " <rustym@p...> wrote: > Both kimchee and saurekraut need only one thing in preparation: > Rinsing before eating to take out any residual salt. > Then shed it or just serve it. > rusty > - > " Miko (Kobasigawa) Nelson " <miko_nelson@h...> > > I just finished my first batch of live kim-chee from the Eating > > without Heating recipe book by Sergei and Valya Boutenko, and now I > > have no idea how to eat it.
