Guest guest
Hi Rufus, I've learned over the years that although people may lash out in a defensive or angry manner when a different opinion is expressed...the underlying reason is USUALLY fear. It's very scarry to learn that something you've believed all your life " may " be inaccurate because this may require that an individual go against culture, family traditions, radically change their lifestyle, ect. Sometimes it's easier for people to go with the flow and not rock the boat. I also agree it's very sad that our society is unable to discuss and/or debate without anger and aggression. Most wars are the direct result of the " I'm right you're wrong " mentality you described. I personally want to hear all viewpoints so that I can make informed choices and correct my mistakes to become wiser. :)Lili
