Guest guest
Hi- My name is Karin and I was a off and on again raw foodist for about three years. I had a severe MS exacerbation 1yr ago which left me confined to a wheelchair and with terrible hand tremors!! For the last 18 weeks I have been religious about raw foods, I believe raw foods can cure this insidious disease. I hope this group offers more inspiration and help than the MD and all the prescriptions!! My very first question is what kind of wheatgrass juicer do you all recommend? Remember, my hands aren't working that great. Can anyone point me in the right direction on food combining? I eat lots of veggie type meals, but I know I'm missing something. Anyway, thanks for the advice, Karin Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now
Guest guest
There are resources on the net that describe how MS may be misdiagnosed as Lyme (try search terms such as " MS misdiagnosed as Lyme " and you'll probably find it, if you're interested. Not all MS is Lyme, but some symptoms diagnosed as Lyme, indeed, are caused by tickborne disease. I'm wondering: has raw food helped you? Guest guest
Karin, Stay with it. I have read of many cases where MS has been defeated by raw food. I do not know the details but some sort of reversal must be possible. If you need ideas or help just ask. Guest guest
Very strange but in Poland, wheat grass juicing is quite common and their machines are robust and cheap, I hear. My grand father suffered MS and died when my mother was eight years old! Peter KVG [snoopylover_2000] 26 November 2003 20:10 rawfood RE: [Raw Food] Hello cf from a newbie.............. Thanks!
