I'm going to do some reading on nightshade vegetables today to compliment the information you shared. I'm particularly interested in the emotional and mental effects these foods may have on some people. One thing I learned after doing some reading last night is that nightshade vegetables contain a chemical called solanine(spelling?) which some people do not digest very well. I'm also lactose intolerant so I wouldn't be surprised if there are other foods/chemicals I can't handle. Tomatos also break me out and kethup sends me up a wall...probably the sugar/carb content. I've never really tasted the other night shade vegetables so can't comment on their effects yet. I'll post info as I come across it.
