Hi Susan, I also didn't notice any of the terrible side effects I was

expecting the first 3 days of my fast. Towards the end of the day I

felt slightly sleepy but not tired. Overall I noticed improved energy

and greater sense of calmness. I also did light cardio or walking

each day....so go figure. I guess it's normal for some people not to

have a lot of side effects. In my case I think my digestive system

was so overworked that a fast was long overdue. lol I also understand

your concern about fruit and juice after a fast, I have a tendency to

drop in energy after eating anything sweet or loaded in processed

carbs so I am curious to know if ending a fast with vegetables would

be better for me. I asked a similar question in a previous message

also. Congratulations on your first fast. :) Lili

Congratulations,

At 3 days of a Water Fast your body is just starting the job. The best way to

physically see the progress of the fast is to get seven small glass containers

with tops. Save the first urination of the day in your glass jar. As your fast

goes on you will notice the urine getting darker this is your body eliminating

toxins. Be sure to drink half your weight in ounces (distilled water) each day.

Dehydration will also cause your urine to be more concentrated (Darker). You

will notice that when you drink this amount of water your urine is almost clear

and then it starts getting darker and darker and you are drinking the same

amount of water. Your body is cleaning house! If you do not have any bad

feelings do a 5-day. If this is your first you will know the symptoms of

detoxing. (Strong Body Odor, White film on the Tongue, Bad Breath, Mood Swings)

Keep the urine for a week in a cool dark place and go back to it in a week you

will be very surprised at the amount of mucus and crystals that

will form as it cools.

I am going to do a 5 – 7 day around Christmas.

Keep up the good work,

Bruce
