Guest guest
hello all, I was wondering if humans can eat them? I heard that where Irish potatos are concerned, we lack the enzymes to properly digest them. After trying a few, for me at least they seemed to have developed an astringent taste. Was that some toxin in the potato at work? They were not green. thanks
Guest guest
Jason, I have eaten them in the past. They are raw and fairly harmless I think. I read they were rich in pistase and thought they might help blood circulation. Now I think they are roots and not that wonderful. I do not eat them any more.
