Guest guest
Roger, In this forum we have had a lot of postings questioning the value of taking the fibre out of fruit and vegetables. I think juicing comes to the forefront in transition and especially when getting started on fasting. Ann Wigmore treated wheatgrass juice as a medicine. Humans can suck grass and I have done it myself on a walk. Very good for the gums! As I see it wheatgrass juice is natural enough. You could argue that fasting is not natural but if that is the case why do we lose our appetites when illness strikes? The digestion closes down and healing takes place. When the seasons inflict a drought or famine or fast, then the body knows it is a time to repair. Even a fast is natural food! Peter Roger Haeske [roger] 10 November 2003 14:24 rawfood RE: [Raw Food] natural foodist There is no wheat grass juice tree in nature. So I suspect it couldn't be considered a natural food for humans or any animals for that matter. There is no fruit juice tree in nature either. Therefore, if one claims to be a Natural Foodist I don't think man made juices would fall into that category. Roger Do You Have These Problems With Your Raw Food Diet? 1.
