Hi there,

My name is Tom, but many of my friends call me Blu or ThirdEyeBlu.

Anyway, I have been a vegetarian for 14 years and am in the midst of raw

conversion along with my girlfriend who has a carnivore as little as 8

months ago. Big transition.

We are living alone on a 12 acre farm in Puerto Rico and working part time

for the Ann Wigmore Institute down here. Our farm has hundreds of fruit

producing trees (papaya, avocado, grapefruit, guava, corazon, quenepes, etc)

and we get all of our sprouting seeds and wheatgrass etc from the institute.

Pluse we can pick of up trays of wheatgrass or sunflower greens, etc from

there as well as three Living meals a day.

My girl friend Jodi is a journalist and she is doing a live web journal on

" GOING RAW " for microsoft's SLATE magazine

http://slate.msn.com/id/2090570/entry/0/ These live diaries are usually for

artists with Big gallery shows opening or people doing pretty interesting

stuff. Anyway, I guess that the editors think that RAW is pretty happening.

She is getting pretty badly flamed for going RAW on their interactive forums

section http://slate.msn.com/id/2090570/entry/0/

She is getting a little depressed by the negative response that she is

getting from the general public, but doesn't feel that it would be

appropriate for her (as the journal writer) to start taking on the forum

responses.

Would anyone who would mind joining the fray and defending RAW? It will make

her feel better to know that there are other people out there supporting

this, plus it is a very public news forum and may help spread the word.

All the best,

Tom aka Blu
