Guest guest
My secrets to long term juice fasting is in the first week. The first three days I plan my " I'm going to cheat " attack. The all else fails. I will go to Starbucks and sip a very unhealthy cup of coffee, or I plan a soy shake. Chocolate soymilk with protein powder and a banana. This is very much OK in the first three days of the fast and they really help get me through. On day 4-7 I use only the soy shake as you need to watch your fast a little more. Day seven and onward all appetite is gone. As far as grumpy, when you fast you release a lot of emotions. This is normal part of detox. Bernadette This is me when I don't eat for 6 to 8 hrs. How do you get through the hunger and don't you get edgy I sure do when I am hungry am I the only one Rhonda abrs <abrs wrote: I juiced fasted for 45 days while running 5 miles each day. It was the most fulfilling and best task I ever accomplished in my entire life. I made sure my level of exercise was not to much, my point was only to be out in the sun for an hour each day. Running while juice fasting was easy. On water only fast I do not exercise, these fast I sleep more. I want to do it for spirtual and health reasons, but I also want to still continue to exercise. Can I still exercise while on a juice fasting? I decided to start with the juice fast b/c the water fast is too extreme for me just beginning and read that the juice fast would be more ideal for a beginner fast. I think I'm going to go easy and first start off with a week, and if I feel decent by the end of the week, I will continue to the next week with the fasting and so on. I'm trying to go for a month so I will take it like that. I just want to know will what detox side effects will I have, and will I have the energy to still exercise(ex: running)? Thanks so much. If so I'll start 2morrow. The New with improved product search
Guest guest
Thanks for the reply about being very irritable when I don't eat for 6 to 8 hours. I was a vegitarian for about 4 years then I fell off the wagon and I have used a lot of over the counter drugs, achohol and I smoke alot. I want to get on the health wagon again I know raw is the answer! I have 4 children and I can't afford to be really sick all the time because of detoxifing. I need to know if there is a step by step good book about how to start fasting and how you are suppose to feel because of the detox sysmtoms. I want to do this because I want to be viberant for my husband and our blessings of our 2 little ones we just adopted, for health & spiritual reasons. Any advice out there? abrs <abrs wrote: My secrets to long term juice fasting is in the first week. The first three days I plan my " I'm going to cheat " attack. The all else fails.
