Guest guest
<<<What kind of fruit acid facial wash should I use?>>>> I just use whatever fruit I have around. I love smearing mango all over my face after eating most of the flesh. It's a bit messy, but very inexpensive. Some of those little bottles of fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids) are quite pricy, and do no more than the natural fruit it's self. I also quit using soap on my body. <<<Also How long does it take for the body to detox?>>>> That is pretty individual depending on how toxic ones body is to begin with. <<<<What do you think could be the problem why my face is always flushed? I think it's from when my face used to break out all the time, but I'm not sure.>>>> It could be that your body is using it to detox through or it could be from something you are using on it that keeps it irritated. People tend to over-clean the skin when they have problems and use all kinds of products to get rid of it. Skin has a way of reflecting what is going on inside our bodies and I'm sure as your body becomes cleaner, your skin will become clearer. <<<<What kind of foods are clogging and irritating?>>> Fats and stimulating foods. <<<It isn't any raw fruits and veggies is it? I also think some of my skin probs could be from my sluggish bowel movements. But My bowels have been this way for years. I want to get my bowel to making a movement after every meal, but don't know how.>>> Just keep increasing fiber rich fruits and veggies. Also greens are very rich in minerals and oxalic acids that produce good peristalisis in the intestines. Sounds like you have a sluggish bowels, but with a good diet and exercise, they should perk up. Vegigran
Guest guest
While I was in university just a few years ago I used to work part- time as a cosmetician for all of those high-end lines (Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder) and we naturally had to promote AHA products. What I did learn from the many training seminars is that the AHAs in cosmetic products are synthetic versions of two specific food acids: fruit (citrus & apple) and milk. I've always been very careful in taking care of my skin over since I was a teenager because of breakouts (I'm 26 now), but my skin improved considerably when I began using synthetic AHAs. In the last 8 months since turning raw, I've used bottled lemon juice (granted, it isn't loaded with enzymes)on a cotton ball as a toner, and regular mild soap for cleansing. Once a week I create a fruit masque with whatever acidic fruit I can find and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Not to sound vain, but I no londer use any sort of foundation or powder - and my previously oily skin (I used to have to powder my nose every two hours because of the shine) is completely normal, soft and glowing. I'm sure that there's more that I could be doing, but until I find something else in my research, this is what I'll be sticking with. And it may be worth noting that after being a smoker for nearly 10 years, the smiles lines around my mouth are no more. Raw foods taken internally and externally can truly make a world of difference. It is fragrance, alcohol, soap free, and ph balanced. It also has alpha hydroxy acid. Is that good for the face? If not then what kind of facial wash should I use and where can I buy it? Also How long does it take for the body to detox? My skin is clearing up a little, but still get a pimple every now and then, also my face(I'm assuming from all the previous break outs) is always looking red or flushed. I am very light skinned. Once the body becomes clean, there is no reason for it to use the skin to detox thru. A clean blood stream is the best. Avoid fatty foods and foods that are clogging and irritating. Use natural fruits for facials to clean the pores instead of products on the market. Fruit acids are very cleansing. Drink plenty of water, get a good nites rest, sunshine, fresh air, and exercise. You will start looking radiant. > Vegigran
