Guest guest Posted October 21, 2003 Report Share Posted October 21, 2003 Hi Jane, Well I was cleaning off the children's book shelf (my 3 boys are grown and we now have 4 grandkids) and found a very old thin book by Ann Wigmore describing her use of wheatgrass. I read it over and over and decided to try it. I went about it by getting some commercial wheat/barley green and began using it along with eating raw. I also ate a small amount of cooked food for 2 days. After that I didn't have a desire for anything but raw and was eating much less than I thought was safe and others told me wasn't safe, but I felt fantastic. I haven't done much juicing. I blend more. I especially like blended avocado and tomato.
