Guest guest
Bridgitte, that is not my statement. That is something that AIDS researchers such as Mr. Duesberg have been questioning and I'm merely quoting. Like it was in the beginning, AIDS was told only to be spreading amongst these minority groups, but not affecting the larger public until recently. This is not making sense for a virus, since a virus doesn't choose its victims by what minority they belong to. I think you really are making too big an issue out of a small piece of text. /Mimi rawfood , " Bridgitte " <syndactylcat> wrote: > Just so you all get it, I was responding DIRECTLY to this quote by > Mimi: > > " Why would a virus (like HIV) only spread amongst the homosexuals > or drug addicts? Guest guest
Hi Mimi, I was only trying to clarify for people what I was responding to. The quotes were intended to show that it was from your post. I didn't see in where you noted that the statement wasn't your own thought, but I'll re-read the original post. No harm intended. > I think you really are making too big an issue out of a small piece > of text. Things have been clarified enough for me by your apology that I'm not making an issue out of it anymore at all, but people keep responding. Anything I've posted since rejoining the group has't been directed toward you, just responses to various other posts. I'm hoping that if this thread continues, that we can stick to the germ theory aspect, and drop all the other crap around it. I think we've all made our opinions clear at this point, and there's no point in beating a dead horse. My apologies for contributing to this getting out of control.
