Guest guest
Bruce, Do you have an idea of the edible wild plants such as might be found in the temperate parts of Europe? Even some general guidelines could be useful. I am sure that I should be able to eat easily in walking through a forest by worry a lot about poisoning myself. Gardiner Bruce Reid [bwreid67] 12 October 2003 04:53 rawfood RE: [Raw Food] (Roger) Ewald's book I too have been in this quest since the eighties. I would like to see some of the con articles on the blood type diet. I definitely do not believe everything I read or I would not be in this group. I follow a raw diet as well as medicinal herbs and fasting. I am also going to be starting a nature company taking people on walks and pointing out the many edible wild plants and herbs that are available. I am in to endurance racing and since I have not been sick in close to ten years to hear of someone getting sick after a few bad choices makes me look at things more closely. I do not follow anything definitively, I always keep my eyes (Ears) and feelings open. If you have a link I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your help, Bruce
Guest guest
No Peter, Sorry I'm not familiar with the plants of Europe. Here is a link to get you started. It will turn a walk in the woods into a treasure hunt…. http://door.library.uiuc.edu/bix/fieldguides/edible.htm I do also recommend you find a guide who is familiar with your local plants as a mistake could make you sick. (Before You Eat) Bring home sample leaves, pictures and measurements this in itself is very exciting. Study Study Best of luck, Bruce The New with improved product search
