Guest guest
I got curious about Ewald's book and read some sample pages of it on Amazon. Now what I read is very much in contrast to what natural hygiene teaches. Quote: " In Plague Time, Ewald puts forth an astonishing and profound argument that challenges our modern beliefs about disease: it is germs - not genes - that mold our lives and cause our deaths. " " It now seems obvious that surgical instruments should be sterilized before surgery, that water supplies should be filtered and chlorinated to protect against diarrheal diseases, and that condoms can protect against AIDS. Soon it will seem obvious that peptic ulcers are caused by bacterial infection and can be prevented by antibiotic treatment. " How about this? AIDS, antibiotics, germs???? I thought that was all a medical hoax... /Mimi rawfood , " Peter Gardiner " <petergardiner@e...> wrote: > Thanks Vegegran, > > So far I can say that every doctor and researcher into medicine and > everybody who is interested in their health should read Ewald(see > below). Guest guest
Thanks, Mimi. If you enjoy the Probiotics then you will enjoy Ewald. He even debates the antibiotic morality pointing out how antibiotic weaken society as a whole. Put minimally he says there are more pathogens in our bodies than anybody knows about and that medicine is scratching the surface of a deep subject. It sounds rather similar to Dr. Rubin of the Garden of Life. The point of connection between Raw Food and Ewald is the building of the body's immune system. That is the great area in which all healing takes place... ..and good health dwells Will read on.
