Elephant trap

All,

I thought I had just walked into a massive elephant trap. Meat eaters

had stormed in and were churning out pages of warnings and fearful

predictions about what would most certainly happen to anyone who dared

to eat 100% raw. When I briefly quipped about chops in mosques and

sponsors from the meat industry, I was quickly put down for my unwanted

opinion from many sides and was treated as a belligerent intellectual

dwarf.

With regular people begging for these people to stay, the trap seemed

too big to get out of. I too enjoy plurality of thought but now with

Roger's action, I am pleased that I will not have to read through any

more sermons on eating eggs or my own stupidity for being 100% raw.

RE: [Raw Food] Pete

Actually I think Pete's information was quite interesting. I wished he

could have kept it to information instead of personal attacks. He wasn't

thrown out for the fact that he eats raw eggs. He might need it. Most of

us are quite damaged and sometimes beyond being able to be successful on

a vegan raw food diet. But these are special cases. I believe that most

people can be very successful on a low fat vegan raw food diet.

I had no way to communicate with him directly. He didn't leave an email

address. Please don't assume you know everything that is going on.

Pete simply has an attitude problem. I've seen his posts on an other

board and he caused the same kinds of problems. But he has to have more

respect for others and the moderators when he posts here.

No Rufus, you won't get banned because you were fairly respectful in

your post. Even if you don't know all of the details. Pete mainly lacks

tact in his posts. I wish him well.

Please don't feel that you really have to watch yourself on all of your

posts. Just try to be nice. That is the main thing.

Thanks, Roger
