Guest guest
Peter; Sorry I haven't seen you on line, but I think I will wait until I get T-1 and I don't know when that will be. I found out I have liver problems. Two weeks ago Thursday night, I was having trouble sleeping so I got up and had a half a glass of wine and watched the stock market open 3:30 AM my time, and went back to bed. Got up the next morning and went to work and we had random drug and alcohol tests. I was chosen for alcohol test. This was at 7:30 AM. Although I passed with flying colors. He said I did have some alcohol in my blood. I told him what happened, and he said I have a bad liver. He said all traces of alcohol should have been gone in one hour. He also noticed I have a yellow cast to my skin. But I have always been slightly yellow. All of my adult life. Yikes!! So now I am on a big campaign to heal my liver. I checked out this web site ----- they talk a lot about liver flukes so I am using their method of killing flukes. Once I have completed that I will do their liver flush. I am not looking forward to that, because it makes you rather ill. If anyone has a better idea let me know. If I have flukes in my liver, I don't think raw food alone would help. I've been raw 4 years and it hasn't. On that web site it says that all stones are caused by flukes. On the bright side my little raw food group, Kona side of the Big Island, got together for a raw potluck last Saturday. I made pizza. Everyone enjoyed here is the recipe; Pizza This takes a lot of time but not much work as you are just waiting for things to dehydrate. Start by slicing a lot of tomatoes about 1/4 inch thick, and dehydrate 24 hours or until dry, the reason I say a lot is because they come in handy, and as long as your running the dehydrator might as well fill it up. Crust In a food processor combine; 4 cups germinated buckwheat 2 cup grated carrot 1 clove garlic 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 cup onion juice of 1/2 lemon 1 Tbsp spoon maple syrup form into balls about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Smash them between two pieces of wax paper to form little pizza crusts. Dehydrate for a couple days. Sauce In a blender combine; 2 cups tomatoes 1/4 of one avocado 2 cloves garlic 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 cup fresh basil (packed) 1/4 cup fresh oregano (packed) 1/4 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon paprika 1 tablespoon maple syrup Braggs or sea salt to taste While this is blending start adding your dried tomatoes until it is very thick. Put it on your pizza crusts thick, then slice some red bell peppers, mushrooms, olives and whatever and stick them on top. Serve warm. Guest guest
Hi Doug, The odds of you having liver flukes is very small. Go to the library and ask your librarian to help you find information on liver flukes. Find out what countries and areas of the countries they usually found. Also, find out how do humans contract this parasite. You may discover that this type of a parasite does not apply to you. Fred
Guest guest
Hi Doug, Sorry to hear about the kidney problem. I hope you get to the cause and find a remedy. Given your symptoms, it may be worthwhile to go for a thorough check-up as I did. It could be that the pressure on the kidney is caused by some other deficiency Am just back from a month in the UK where I was cut off from email. I have just had a stomach ache from eating elderberries. - I'd say I pick a half kilo or so and ate them unwashed this morning. My brother tells me elderberries are slightly poisonous, his wife says the area where I found them gets sprayed with insecticide and another person says that insects often lay eggs on them and on black berries which can cause stomach upsets. First upset in years. I expect to be over it the morning... ... nevertheless grateful for any input on the subject.
