Define 100% raw

Hi,

When people say they eat " 100% raw " , does that mean that they do not

eat any store-bought dried foods, oils, tahini, spices, herbs, carob

powder (etc) that may have been cooked at some point along their

processing?

Most people consider foods subjected to temperatures of 110

degrees or less as still being raw because the enzymes have

not been killed. If the preparation process requires a

higher heat it is no longer raw and a 100% raw foodist

would not eat it.
