Rule of thumb...if you have a question about whether something is ok

or not, ask yourself if you could find whatever it is in it's exact

state in nature. HOWEVER, there are some things that people disagree

on, like nutritional yeast (the vegetarian version of which is grown

on molasses). I use it and see it in recipes in raw cookbooks, but

there are people out there who won't. Same thing with nama shoyu,

bragg's aminos and miso. There are a few others, but I don't

remember them off the top of my head. I'd say molasses, no.

Nutritional yeast, if you're comfortable with it and you're not

obsessive about being absolutely, positively 100% raw, go ahead.
