I've been at it for 20 years and slowly started eliminating down to " raw " foods.

 

I would like to ask if there are any other members who practice the Natural

Hygiene way of eating. I am not sure if most members here eat only raw foods or

only a certain percentage.>>>>>

 

Natural Hygiene seems the best way for me and staying all raw feels the most

sensible.

That's pretty much how I eat, only I'm trying to eliminate all cooked foods.

 

I am not mixing carbs with proteins. I am also eating raw nuts. I

don't drink with meals, etc.

This is my biggest challenge. I always intend to get to bed earlier but somehow

get side tracked. I know how important rest is and aiming at getting more is my

goal.

It is definitely a process. Reading good books and getting support from groups

like this helps to keep us focused.

Fit For Life was the very book that got me started. Since then I have read

wonderful encouraging ones. I try to stay away from all grains as they are very

mucus forming and not ideal for us.

fresh juice. I have a Vita-Mix, so even when I make

I also drink just distilled water and use my Vita-Mix just about every day.

I am the only one in my family and among my friends that eat this way. They

think i'm an " odd ball " , but the benefits far outwiegh their opinions.

Which leads me to say that I am 51 and living in South Florida.>>>>

 

I'm about 15 years your senior and I can tell you I'm a lot more active than

friends and family my age.
