Guest guest Posted June 27, 2003 Report Share Posted June 27, 2003 All, Am wondering whether walnuts when bought shelled have been put through a heat process to dry them out and firm them up. The ones in the shells seem to taste better but crumble as I crack them open. It doers seem to me that driving all the juice out would increase sacred supermarket shelf life.
