(archives) Restaurants, Roxanne is in Larkspur, Cafe Sanga, Fairfax, in Marin, opened a month ago Oxygen Bar will start having Sat night dinners only, the plates are elegantly small. Very artistic. I prefer to have a heaping amount of food just tossed onto a bowl...Soups are good Urban Forage is crowded with young folks the soup is the best deal, the desserts are way too sweet, especially the ones with honey. A big secret is to freeze the pies and it comes out better! Millennium has 2 raw entrees now. In the old days you used have to call ahead of time. Many of their salads can be made raw. If you call ahead a of time, they might even do a raw dessert for you. I had Mandarin Sorbet. http://www.millenniumrestaurant.com the web site does not reflect their new menu all the above restaurants have web sites..go to .. http://www.vegdining.com The vegetarian and raw community in SF area is extremely strong. However, don't just move here. Unemployment is high and housing prices are ridiculous. Be well, and be happy SF has been voted as #1 veg city by PETA and by Natural Health Magazine
