Guest guest
QUESTION: Any recommendations for " sprouters " ? I am using jars and they're OK, but I'd like something a little more convenient and productive. I just bought a tiered " thing " but haven't used it yet and frankly don't even know how. It's the Sprout Garden from The Handy Pantry. So... QUESTION: Does anyone have the Sprout Garden sprouter from The Handy Pantry? If so, how do you use it? Guest guest
I like my hemp bag the best. Because drainage is so important to get all seeds to sprout, this works best and most easily. I take it out on the patio after rinsing, tie the pouch closed, and whip it round and round above my head. Yee-hah! Then I hang it from my pot rack. Yeah, I am raw and have a pot rack. It's also good for hanging 30 bananas at a time. Guest guest
A hemp bag? That sounds very intersting. Where do you get one? I could just hear your " Yee-hah " ! Thanks for the suggestion, Rose
Guest guest
I bought mine at sproutpeople.com, because it was the cheapest. It doubles to drain nut and seed milks; instead of using a strainer, you can squeeze the bag and get less nut debris in your cup (if that is what you prefer - not all folks strain their nut milks).
