Thanks to all who replied to my sore throat message. I took each

reply into consideration. Jane, that full-strength Apple Cider

vinegar gargle is nasty; it almost made me upchuck.

Today, my throat is feeling less sore. But now I have with a runny

nose, stuffy head, swollen nasal membranes, slight fever, and

general logy feeling - all symptoms consistent with the body

fighting back in response to an invading " common cold " virus.

I still can't believe I succumbed to that under the circumstances I

described. I had thought healthful, raw eating along with other

good health practices would keep my immune system robust, but I

guess not. There go my bragging rights to family and friends about

the benefits of my raw diet! Phooey. :-(

when your get past the detox phase, those " bragging " rights will be

effective... but is it really necessary to brag? That kind of takes

away from the holistic goal of eating closer to nature. If your

trying to prove a point, the proof is in the product, not in your

words.
