Guest guest Posted April 10, 2003 Report Share Posted April 10, 2003 Tree of Life Cafe Employment Live Foods Chef & Instructor Immediate Placement, April 2003 Responsibilities: · Creating multiple raw and living food dishes for large groups under set time constraints · Following and creating culturally-inspired recipes · Regularly teaching raw foods preparation classes and workshops to small and large groups · Playing an active role in the Tree of Life Live Food Apprenticeship Program · Working within Dr. Cousensx Rainbow Green Cuisine low-glycemic foods protocol (will train) · Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and order Qualifications: · Detailed familiarity with raw food preparation, including: Gourmet entrees, salads, sauces, appetizers, soups & stews, desserts, garnishing, waste minimization · Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced professional kitchen · Working knowledge of culinary uses of adjunctive herbs and spices · Diverse background/knowledge of culinary terms and dishes · A discerning palette; a penchant to turn xrawx ingredients into delicious dishes · Ability to apply creativity and ingenuity to raw food recipes · Experience working both as a leader and within a team towards a common goal · Speaking/teaching in front of large groups · Physical endurance, a positive attitude and strong work ethic This is full-time position is offered at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center in Patagonia, Arizona.
