Guest guest
Hi Karean, Nuts would be good. Eat them slowly and chew well. Eat lots of green leaves. Lots... I love arugula! Juice greens. Keep us informed. The best, Sue --- Hi all I have been 100% Raw since December and am still having a hard time with my blood sugar. I am not diabetic but suffering from GI related problems that is why I went RAW to hopefully reverse Leaky Gut and Malabsorption. My blood sugar will drop to 58 and upon waking up in the morning it has tested at 70. Normal ranges can be from 70-120 I believe but a lot of the times if I don't eat on time and I don't even know that I'm hungry until it's too late sometimes it will drop below 70 and my machine will even ask if I need a snack. I then will get all the symptoms ranging from shakiness, nausea, dry heaves, cloudy mind, fatigue and irritable bowel. Will the raw diet eventually reverse this problem or will it be something I will have to deal with from now on? I'm currently seriously underweight from my illness as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I tell you it sure is hard watching friends and family devouring their chicken and cooked foods sometimes but I just want to get well so I won't even touch those foods anymore no matter how good it smells and looks. In good health, Karean
