Guest guest
I'd say, go with what feels best for you. If you are doing fine with some cooked veggies in your diet, don't be too absolute in trying to stick to 100 % raw. That will only make your raw journey a bumpy one, one where you are never totally satisfied with what you eat. On fruit: I eat fruit after dinner. I know it's not recommended in terms of food combining, but I've found that denser fruit (banana, dates) are fine even right after a meal. I often have a banana or two just before going to bed, too - no harm done there. Actually, Marilyn Diamond writes in her book Fitonics that banana is the perfect " night fruit " that will guarantee you a good night's sleep. Don't know if it's the bananas but I sleep very well Go and find out what works for you. Greetings, Nan rawfood , wendyshomeschool <no_reply> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I need some advice. Guest guest
Dr Herbert Shelton " Desert the desserts. Eaten on top of meals they lie heavy on the stomach, requiring no digestion there and ferment. Bacteria turn them into alcohols and vinegars and acetic acids " So drive carefully! Guest guest
Sure the NH books are full of warnings, but I still think it's best to try what works for each individual. I enjoy reading the books and getting the knowledge, but in the end I want to find it out myself. Sort of " I don't believe it before I see it " . This of course does not mean that I'd eat rat poison to find out what it does for me. ;-) rawfood , " Peter Gardiner " <petergardiner@e...> wrote: > Dr Herbert Shelton > > " Desert the desserts.
