Guest guest
Hi, I am just looking into food combining and I was wondering if honey and maple syrup are acidic or alkaline? Also I want to eat rice, how can I prepare raw rice? Thanks Wendy
Guest guest
The rule is Refined sugars or starches of any sort are Acidic. Maple syrup is acidic but RAW honey is neutral. If the carb is not obviously starchy like potatoes or Yams it's generally alkaline in it's whole raw state. Some good fats [oils] can be combined with either carbs or proteins but don't combine your carbs and proteins. You'll find a good chart at this sitre: http://pacificcoast.net/~rustym/articles/PH.html rusty - wendyshomeschool rawfood Monday, March 17, 2003 4:19 AM [Raw Food] Syrupie Question Hi, I am just looking into food combining and I was wondering if honey and maple syrup are acidic or alkaline?
