Guest guest
I realize that currently the attack against organic standards deals with `Organic Meat', but that is today, what about tomorrow? If they relax the standards on organic meat, how long will it be before they relax the standards on the growing of other organic foods. We finally have national organic standards, and they are not perfect, it is harder and more costly for farmers to meet those standards, but it is a start. Yes I think there are some problems with the system, it is very complex for one. But for the first time when something says organic, at least we have an idea what that means. relaxing the standard and allowing farmers to buy non organic feed and still call it organic, is stupid.
