Water Fast - Day 7

Dear Peter,

I thought I would continue this fast for ten days.

And coming off it I thought I would start with vegetable juice for two

days then add fruit juice for a day then fruit. How long do you think

I should stay on vegetable juice, then fruit juice?

After I come off the juice, I will nibble fruit every two hours. Do

you think for two days?

Day 7 is pretty good. I am becoming deeply used to this fast and I am

able to deeply relax using a muscle relaxing exercise.

I think coming off the fast will be an important time. I don't want to

muck it up so I want to take plenty of time on juices.

I am very pleased with my ability to relax now and I am very pleased

with your advice.

With Thanks,

Victor.

Well done Victor,

For me the distinction between juices of fruit and vegetables

and the plants themselves is a fine line. Fruit and vegetables have the

near perfect amount of water in them to supply our needs. Generally

juicing degrades food values. I only take additional liquid for social

reasons. Those who counsel a litre of water a day or more are quite

right for a dehydrated cooked diet. The muck needs washing out.

Coming off a fast it is as well to keep a gap of a couple of hours at

least between fruit and vegetables. I would start with some watered

fruit juice to give you some sugar, taking half an hour to savour the

first glass. This could be done on the evening of say day 10. Then, in

the morning after, nibble or juice some green leaves in very modest

quantities. The lift will be enormous. Feelings of euphoria, well

being and strength will come. A really fresh spinach leaf will taste

far better than the finest Australian steak of days gone by.

Then in your case I would get to that blood pressure test and even get a

blood test. Your doctor should go ecstatic on seeing your newer lower

cholesterol levels, ratios etc. She may even be cured of her anxieties

on your mindset.

It is highly likely that you will have turned the corner on what was

ruining your health. If you stay raw, you may never need another fast.

Otherwise, it is a good idea to put three or six months between one fast

and another

Keep relaxing and go the distance unless you get severe warning signals.

I predict that in a few days you will feel as sharp as you have ever

felt in your life!

You will see.

Peter
